Wade Robson, though still in his 20s, has already made an absolutely huge dance career for himself. He picked up the dance moves to Thriller when the video came out when he was two years old, and the rest has fallen into place from there. A choreographer, dancer, and music producer, Robson has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including being a dancer in Michael Jackson videos and choreographing for Britney Spears videos and commercials.
Wade Robson's Dance Formation
Robson began dancing at the young age of two, and his talent was immediately apparent. His feel for music and movement were validated when Michael Jackson saw him perform in Australia and invited him on the spot to perform with Jackson on tour.
Robson hails from Australia, and moved to the United States with his family to pursue his dancing career. Michael Jackson was a formative influence, with Robson appearing in many of Jackson's music videos as a dancer.
Before most dancers even enter a dance academy, Wade Robson was working as a choreographer. His first official choreography gig was when he was only 14 years old, choreographing for the R&B group called Immature. From there he went on to choreograph many tours and high-profile commercials, such as Britney Spears' Pepsi commercial that aired during the SuperBowl.
Most recently, Robson has worked as a judge on the popular show So You Think You Can Dance in addition to hosting his own show: The Wade Robson Project which airs on MTV. Robson has choreographed many numbers, some of them award-winning, on So You Think You Can Dance.
Robson won two Emmy Awards: the 2007 and the 2008 awards for Outstanding Choreography for numbers he choreographed on So You Think You Can Dance.
